Cousin Maddox's Bday party

This weekend was my cousin Maddox's 1st Birthday party
- it was lots of fun.
Here are some of the better pictures from the weekend!
First, my Grammy came up from San Antonio to stay with me
- she likes to play pattycake.
Then on Saturday I put on my beret and we went to a family BBQ.
Then on Sunday we went to Maddox's B'day party at the ballpark.
Here he is with our Grammy-
he is my friend and we like to visit each other
since they live here in Dallas!
Here is my new dress that I wore to the party.
Below is the back with a cute bow.
Here is my beautiful cousin Aliyah from Austin
- she and her sister Grace came up along with the rest of the family!
I enjoyed the chairs in the shade.

.... but once the sun came over I had to break out the sunglasses!
Finally, here I am with my party hat.
We had LOADS of fun .
... and Maddox had a great Birthday thanks to his wonderful mother, Cousin Tiffany.

My trip to the mall

Daddy and I spent the morning at the mall
Our air condition was being worked on so we had some time to waste.

First we decided to have a biscuit at Chick-fil-A.
I have never had anything other than baby food so this is a good time to start.
My first taste of biscuit did not go so well ......

.... but then I kind of liked it .... but I still prefer my own food!

Then... to take up so more time, we decided to go into the "teen store"
and try on the latest in fashion.
The ladies there really got into it.

I first tried a scarf- fun, but not too pratical.

This was my favorite- as you can see!

The pink matches my outfit ... but it may be a bit much.

This one I kind of felt a little silly in .....

And we all know that I have never put up with a bow on my head for too long ....

Once we went to Nieman Marcus ... then I found more I liked.
This one I felt really worked ... if they had only had it in my size!

After the stores we needed a little diaper change.
I love the mirrors in the family bathrooom at the mall!

And finally ... it was time to come home for a nap!

A few things from my day

I LOVE my bathtime!
Our kitchen sink is extra deep and the perfect size for me! I like my rubber ducks
- but most of all I like to splash and wet Daddy
(and the walls, and coutertops, and floor .....)
Onva sent me a "Wolf in sheeps clothing" for Valentines (that sings "Hungry Like the Wolf") and he is the perfect size to wear my old shoes and hats- I Love playtime!

Here is another GLAMOR shot :)

Finally- this is what I look like at the end of the day when I get sleepy and cuddly.

Learning New Things

Here I am with Dad ..... practicing my standing up!
Yes ... that is the famous "If Nancy had an Afro" painting on the wall :)

I cant crawl yet, and have just started to rollover ... I would rather stand up when I can!

Here I am on the third time I rolled over (the first two we did not have a camera ready). I just started this regularly this weekend and am finally getting used to my stomach.

And finally... my cheeks get so much attention I though it a good idea to post a good shot of them for everyone!
You can see my new "Rihanna do"... Daddy gave me a little trim and now it is long on top while still short on sides and back ... very hip! Everyone tells me that they love my crazy hair!

I got a new ball to play with the other day
... I cant roll it yet but I can beat on it and still have fun!

Here I am with Daddy taking a nap with my best friend Tosca!

And here is my beautiful cousin Nola.
She lives in Oklahoma and we are hoping to see her again soon!
She is about 3 months older than I am.

7 Months last week

I am growing up way too fast now....
Here is my "high fashion" shot :)

I like my toes now ....

and you can see one of my birthmarks in this picture.

My Grandmarti gave me this cute "cherry themed" outfit.

And I really like to stick out my tongue at people now too....
my Grandmarti bought this shirt for me too.

This was taken by our good friend Don ...
it was really just a snapshot but it turned out so good of Daddy and me!
This outfit is courtesy of my friend Karen- Foon Moons Mom.
